From Looe’s Boats to Your Table
Here at Pengelly’s Online Fishmongers, we work hand in hand with our local inshore fishing fleet. Looe’s boats land some of the UK’s freshest fish & seafood, with a focus on sustainably caught & seasonal produce.
Looe’s Finest, Landed Fresh
Whilst sustainability can be an over-used word, we truly believe that ports like Looe are the definition of the word. Looe’s small family-owned boats leave port early each morning and return on the tide that evening, landing their catch just steps away from our shop.

A New Chapter for Pengelly’s
Since 2022, Pengelly’s Online Fishmongers, along with our two shops & Lobster Shack eatery, has been owned by Sam & Laura Chapman.
Sam has worked in & around Looe’s fishing industry all his working life - this young local family are taking Pengelly’s forwards at a very exciting time for this much loved & respective fishmongers.
